How Many Links Is Too Many for an Online Page? Keep it Under 100
Dr. Pete of SEOmoz at The Daily SEO Blog writes in How Many Links Is Too Many? for Google Search that one should keep links to fewer than 100 per page in order to keep from being regarded as spam.
This was an actual problem at the moment for posting online a list of links found in my newest book, Ancient Signs, which in only 200 pages, has ca. 1650 total hyperlinks and ca. 1250 hyperlinks after removing most of the topic duplicates.
The book is about written signs in many languages so that there are unavoidably many links to many signs. Looks like I will have top publish my link list in about a dozen separate pages.
NEW!
Ancient Signs:
The Alphabet & The Origins of Writing,
a print & ebook,
shows that
modern alphabets
follow ancient alphabets
as derived from syllabic scripts such as found in Sumer, Egypt, Iran, Anatolia, Crete, and Cyprus.
